Why Tablets?

Did you know that when you buy a cleaning product more than 80% is water and plastic. We eliminated those and we created a tablet form which by adding water will make the desired cleaning solution. By doing this we saved space in your home, saved costs, and also helped our planet from single use plastic and CO2 generated from manufacturing and recycling plastic and transporting the large and bulky bottles .

Elena Alina

I’ve been living in Japan for over 25 years. As a cleaning enthusiast, my home is my sanctuary—a place filled with love, laughter, and cherished moments with friends and family.

One day, as I opened my cupboard and was overwhelmed by a pile of cleaning bottles, I asked myself—do I really need all these products?

I was frustrated with the clutter, the heavy bottles, and the harsh chemicals that dried out my hands. I tried everything from alkaline waters to homemade solutions, but nothing worked well. Eco-friendly options were often too expensive. That's why I created SHIZEN HOME.

I envisioned a product that could clean my entire home effectively, smell like fresh herbs, and be made from non-toxic, plant-based ingredients. It needed to be gentle on my hands, compact, aesthetically pleasing, affordable, and plastic-free. Our products meet all these criteria: they are non-toxic, compact, effective, plastic-free, cost-saving, and wonderfully fragrant.

I believe that cleaning your home also cleanses your heart and mind.
